A restaurant main heating system failed during cold weather in Wheeling, IL and Porta-Air was called to provide temporary heating units to satisfy the restaurant employees and customers in the interim while the main RTU was being repaired. An electric heater was used in conjunction with a heat pump to increase the heating output. Two air cooled heat pump rentals and two electric heaters were used to satisfy the restaurant conditions. One of the main challenges was locating dedicated outlets so breakers don’t trip.
