The airflow distribution of an indirect fired gas heater in an outdoor dining tent in Elmhurst, IL presented a challenge. To resolve this, a glass panel was replaced with a custom wood panel to accommodate one 16-inch return and two 12-inch supplies from the portable heater. After installing exterior ducts, natural gas, power, and a thermostat, four high-temperature ducts were secured inside the tent to ensure even distribution of warm air. This custom design, although time-consuming, was perfected to the satisfaction of the restaurant owner. Porta Air welcomes inquiries for challenging temporary heating or cooling applications
