Chicago, IL - Portable Water-Cooled Equipment, PWC2412 Installation in Basement

In a few instances, Porta-Air has temporarily installed portable rentals in basements to offset the heat dissipation from the other refrigeration equipment. When the condensing unit of a refrigerator or beverage display case is located in the basement, another form of cooling is needed to maintain the basement temperature. If the basement temperature is not maintained to within reason, the refrigerator or display case will not operate properly. In the Andersonville neighborhood of Chicago, we installed a water-cooled unit in the basement to cool down the air-cooled condenser coils of walk-in refrigerators. A temporary air unit was needed since the permanent mini split that normally provided cooling, failed.
