The server rooms tight space made it challenging to take a photo of the complete setup. After the cooling rental was operational for 10 minutes, the temperature inside the server room stabilized and reached an acceptable level. Whenthe primary AC unit supplying cooling to the server room fails, temperatures can rise rapidly, sometimes necessitating the shutdown of servers to prevent hardware damage.

Installation of a New Oceanaire Server Room Air Conditioner in the Fulton Market Area of Downtown Chicago In the spring of 2025, we were contacted by a customer seeking to purchase two new units for their small server rooms located on separate floors. Their existing Tripp Lite units were inadequate for managing the heat load generated by the servers. We provided quotations for two different high-quality commercial units from top-tier manufacturers. The customer chose to proceed withthe purchase of two OceanAire 2OAC1811 Deluxe portable air-cooled ACunits. Upon delivery, we performed the installation free of charge. During the installation process, reducers were required for the condensate pump hoses, which we had readily available in our truck, thus saving the customer an additional trip to the hardware store.

An Air Cooled Portable Spot Cooling unit is cooling multiple servers in the picture below, which was installed in DuPage County, IL. The spot cooling chiller has a return air plenum installed which is drawing in outdoor air, heating up the air and discharging it back to the outside through a window. The cold air shoots are directing cold air towards the servers. A condensate pump is installed, eliminating the need to empty the condensate bucket.
